As a Production Print Sales Consultant you will be responsible for driving net new business revenues by leveraging the Xerox production solutions portfolio.

Your strategic direction and consultative approach combined with ongoing professional development create the recipe for long-term growth and success.

This position is a senior member of the sales team and is expected to assist the sales managers in the training, development, and pre-sales support of their assigned team members to reach RK Dixon's production print revenue and profit targets. 


  • Provide focused sales expertise and lead the production print sales cycle. 
  • Develop value propositions that address the business impact production print solutions could have on key graphic communications and in-house operations. 
  • Drive production print prospect development, sales calls, product demonstrations, proposals, and bid preparations. 
  • Coordinate production print focused customer events. 
  • Delivery of C-level presentations. 
  • Perform at activity levels sufficient to support 100% of quota. 
  • Meet or exceed revenue and gross profit expectations. 


  • BS/BA degree in business and/or technology, or equivalent experience
  • Minimum of five years successful networked digital color selling experience
  • Above average record of success demonstrated by overachievement of sales quota, awards, sales ranking, etc.
  • Experience with all aspects of a commercial printer's business process
  • Process color and digital pre-press experience that includes knowledge of LANs, client environments, operating systems, PDL's, print enablers, and graphic arts
  • Knowledge of Variable Information printing which includes file conversions, common databases, data mining, commercial document creation applications, data driven objects, and line driven data
  • Ability to demonstrate advanced features of color servers and digital color presses and communicate their benefits
  • Knowledge of color markets, product positioning and the competition
  • Knowledge of document management system design and deployment
  • Ability to analyze existing document workflow and suggest solutions
